About Us

Rugby Dollars for Scholars is a volunteer organization that unites local citizens to work together as a community and encourages local students to reach for and achieve their educational goals.  Rugby Dollars for Scholars became a chapter of the Scholarship America on June 28, 2002.  Since that time, 423 scholarships have been awarded for a total of $216,500!

Application is open to all High School Seniors from the Rugby School district including home school students.  Our awards criteria is developed by Scholarship America and the local Rugby Chapter.

We welcome and encourage all applications.  Our scoring process is done with as much integrity and anonymity as possible to assure fairness to all applicants. Please ensure that you are following through with all the guidelines, instructions and expectations for each and every scholarship that you apply for.  Many of the scholarships require additional input by either parents, counselors or references.  It is your responsibility to follow up and ensure that your application is complete.

Good Luck.
